SPANISH PAL CLUB
One hour a week from 5:30 PM to 6:30PM every Friday. Features folk dance, Spanish story-telling Spanish children's movies, bilingual Spanish-English songs, art & crafts, Spanish games such as bingo, matching games, etc.
4 sessions for non-enrolled students: $48.00
Free for enrolled students.

SPANISH SOCIAL CLUB
An informal social gathering for students who want to put their language skills into practice. Meetings are provided weekly at the elementary, intermediate and advanced levels. Students meet once a week for 2 hours/session for four weeks.
8 hours tuition for non-enrolled students (Adults): $96.00

CROSS-CULTURAL AND MULTICULTURAL COMPETENCE TRAINING
Customized training assists professional students who work overseas in reducing their cultural shock. It provides students with tools and skills for working with culturally diverse Spanish clients. Areas covered include: ethnocentrism and stereotypes, cultural shock, management styles, customs and manners, idioms and expressions, business etiquette, and roles of men and women in the business world. This course may be coupled with language instruction for an additional fee of $40.00/hr for private students or $20.00/hr per student in a group setting.
Hourly tuition fee: $75 (includes materials)
Taste and enjoy the delights of Spanish snacks while learning vocabulary about food, cooking, recipes, cooking utensils, and some traditional Spanish dishes.

SPANISH FIELD TRIPS
Students learn Spanish while visiting museums, cafes, restaurants, theaters, and many other cultural events. A Spanish speaking coach coordinates all activities.
Price contingent upon trip.
JUEVES CINE CLUB(THURSDAY MOVIE CLUB)
Weekly film program featuring works from Latin American countries. Students learn cultural, social and political aspects of Spanish speaking countries, as well as improve their Spanish listening comprehension and conversation skills during discussion of the film at end. Suggested donation: $4 for refreshments.
SPANISH THROUGH SINGING AND DANCING
Fun and instructive course is ideal for students who prefer to learn the language while singing and learning to dance. Students benefit from the course as they acquire the language and learn popular and folk dances from different Latin American countries: salsa, merengue, cumbia, bambuco, mapalé, chachachá, danzón, and more.
Monthly tuition fee: $48 (1 hour per week/ 4 weeks)
SPANISH THROUGH ART AND ARTS EXHIBITION
PLI offers both Spanish classes with emphasis on art terminology and art exhibitions of contemporary Latin American artists. Students and the public can meet and socialize with some of our artists in person.
